Overnight Apple Oats with Cinnamon
Ingredients
50g rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon nuts, I love hazelnuts, almonds and pecans
1 tablespoon raisins
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder (ginger powder also works amazingly)
125ml any milk (cows milk, oat milk, nut milk)
1 tablespoon fresh apple juice/any juice
Toppings - 1/2 small sliced apple, coconut yogurt, nut butter, granola (optional)
Method
Mix the oats, chia seeds, nuts, raisins and cinnamon powder together.
Pour in the milk and apple juice and mix well.
Cover and leave in the fridge overnight.
The next day, uncover and top with goodies. I love to use seasonal fruit, a spoon of dairy free yogurt, nut butter for flavour and a good sprinkling of homemade granola for crunch. Enjoy!
