Another eventful foodie trip to Mumbai and I have returned to London with even more recipe ideas. As with all my trips, I usually research the newest hot restaurants and try to visit as many of them as I can. Spiceklub in Lower Parel in Mumbai came up more than once and I decided I had to go.

Mumbai Reboot

I’ve been to India many times, but this food research trip was long overdue. On my last trip I sampled all the usual delights from street food through to five star hotel restaurants, and never went hungry nor did I feel disappointed with the food choices. I’m half way through my trip and it feels like I’m in a whole new city. It’s as if foodie Mumbai powered down and it’s reboot is tastier, more exciting and evolving quicker than ever.

Jolly in Jammu

Jammu is in Kashmir in the north of India and is full of great Kashmiri food. There are so many dishes that appear on restaurant menus that owe its origins to this wonderful cuisine and I sampled some of it in places known for them.

Incredible India

I have just spent the last week travelling around India learning about the origins of some of the tastiest dishes in Indian cuisine. I picked places I had never visited before that have been on my list for ages. And when I say list I mean holiday list, but more importantly, foodie list.
