Camembert tastes great when its been baked and the inside oozes out. Perfect on its own but even better when a few extra ingredients are added to liven up the flavour.

Sablé is the French word for ‘sand’ and is a biscuit – almost like shortbread. It has the most delicious, crumbly texture which should only be baked until light golden brown.

Baking bread is easier than you think and there’s nothing better than freshly baked bread you’ve made with your own loving hands. This is a tear and share loaf full of green olives, sharp cheddar, and a hint of chilli. It’s a great way to start a meal or have with a warming soup.

The other day I went out for lunch and had cheese and wine. I often do this instead of having a ‘real’ meal and I’m lucky that London has some excellent places just for that!
