This is the ideal drink to make when the weather turns chilly and the dark nights draw in. You can add whatever alcohol you fancy but I prefer brandy. It seems to work beautifully with the spices and citrus.

Anything cooked on a BBQ tastes amazing. This simple marinade makes any meat taste great, but I love it with lamb or chicken wings.

Paprika Padron Peppers


I love serving this as a starter as it’s quick and easy for me to make and they get your taste buds ready for the main course! Padron Peppers are like a roulette, only a few are spicy hot and the rest have no heat. They can be found in most supermarkets but you can always use jalapenos if you prefer it with more heat, but make sure you remove the seeds as they can be very very fiery.

Muffins are really easy to make and taste best when eaten on the day, warm, straight from the oven. I love to add sweet spices to the everyday favourite recipes, but you can leave it out if you wish.

Coriander Citrus Cured Salmon


Have you ever tried to cure your own salmon? It’s very easy and you can really play around with flavours. I love the crunch of lightly crushed coriander seeds, which work fantastically well in this recipe.
