The title of this recipe says it all…

Roasted Chilli & Carrot Soup

Tags: , ,

When chillies are roasted their flavour completely changes, and it is sweet as well as hot.

Roast Sardines for Supper

Tags: ,

Sardines are a great oily fish that taste wonderful on their own or roast with fresh ingredients and spices. This is one of my favourite quick recipes, perfect for during the week, or even when I have friends popping over for supper.

Tandoori Chicken

Tags: ,

My website wouldn’t be complete if it didn’t have a recipe for Tandoori Chicken on it, so here it is!

Thai Chilli Ginger Mussels

Tags: , ,

Mussels are cheap and available almost everywhere. They taste wonderful with a whole host of flavours but I love them with fiery ingredients like chilli and ginger.

Chickpea Chorizo Fritters

Tags: ,

These perfect little snacks are packed full of flavour. The smokiness of the chorizo works wonderfully with the toasted spices.

King Prawn & Coconut Fry

Tags: ,

When I thought of this recipe I wanted to borrow flavours from the south of India but then add some of the ingredients I love. So here it is…not exactly as you would have it on the shores of India but not that far off.

You can serve this a starter and it will serve 6 – 8 people depending how hungry you are, or as a main course for 4 people.

Coriander Sesame Crusted Tuna

Tags: , ,

This recipe has a sort of Japanese feel with a touch of spice. Encrusting the tuna steak with spiced sesame is a wonderful way to add texture and flavour, and I like serving it with some cooling cucumber with a mustard soy dressing.

Caraway Roasted Aubergines

Aubergines have a wonderful texture when roasted and they soak up the lovely spice flavours in this recipe.

Caramelised Onion Bhajias

I adore these little snacks. I can’t remember when I first tried them, but I have loved them ever since and they are really easy to make fresh. If you don’t want to deep fry them then just shallow fry in around an inch of oil remembering to make them flatter so they cook evenly.
