The last few months have flown by and I only have 5 weeks left to go before I’m heading to Rajasthan for my crazy cycle challenge.
We’ve had beautiful cycling weather these last few months. The sun has been shining and London temperatures were well into the 20’s for most of the Summer. Cycle training has been tough, and I quickly discovered the need for proper cycling shorts, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. There’s nothing quite like feeling a warm breeze when you’re hot and tired, cooling you down and leaving you ready for more.
I can’t believe the time is nearly here when I will be embarking on the craziest fitness challenge of my life. Rajasthan will be an assault on my senses. Throw in a cycle and I’m in for a heck of a week. I’ve travelled around Rajasthan but I’m going to see it like never before. Cycling 400km through rough terrain, pedalling through rural areas on a bike I’m yet to be fitted for – what have I let myself in for!
Thanks to all that have generously donated to Action Against Hunger. I’ve still not hit my target, but there is time to help me reach my £5000 pledge. Simply visit my fundraising page and give as much as you can to help the millions of malnourished children across the world.
Only 5 more weeks to go….
