My first blog for my new website
Pretty exciting stuff! I love to share my passion for food with anyone willing to listen, and so I decided to add a blog section so I can note down all the things I want to say. There is usually an ingredient I want to comment on, or a restaurant I want to share, and I’m often abroad with work and hear about something I simply must talk about or I may just burst! So here it is…the section just for that. Happy reading!
When I decided I wanted to create my own website I thought about all I wanted to have on there. Do I want it to be foodie? Do I want it to be cheffy? Do I want it to be a collection of my thoughts? I guess I want it to be all of the above, but most of all I want it to reflect me. I adore food, and everything that it relates to, especially the social inclusion it can bring. For me, the best evenings are laughing over a tasty bite and a bottle of good wine. Either that means going out and testing out what’s hot (and often not!) on the restaurant scene, or staying in and having friends over. I love to entertain, and playing host doesn’t have to be too stressful if you are fully prepared. I spend most of my days in the kitchen thinking of new recipes and adapting old traditional favourites and so will be adding them to my recipe section so hopefully you feel inspired to test a few of them out for yourself. And like everyone these days, using a shortcut ingredient now and again is something to be proud of!
